Amruta Shankar
Director, Head of GenAI
Amruta joined Astorg in 2026 as Director of AI and is a member of the Corporate Functions Team.
Prior to this, Amruta was Director of AI Transformation at Synamedia in London, where she led company-wide AI adoption. She previously led the firm's Data and Insights function and has held data product roles in the technology and media sector.
Since joining Astorg, Amruta has led the firm's AI strategy and adoption programme across the investment platform and corporate functions, and chairs Astorg's internal technology forum.
Amruta sits on the boards of the National Mathematics and Science College and SchoolReaders, England's largest children's literacy charity.
Amruta holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
