Partner, Co-Head Mid-Cap
Lionel de Posson joined Astorg in 2020 as co-founder of the Mid-Cap Fund. He serves as Partner and Co-Head of the Mid-Cap Fund, sits on the Mid-Cap Investment Committee and the group Executive Committee. Since joining Astorg, Lionel has been involved in several key investments, including Opus 2, Armor-IIMAK, Sofico, and Redslim.
Prior to joining Astorg, Lionel spent 13 years at Sun Capital Partners in London, where he was a Managing Director focused on mid-cap investments across Europe in the healthcare, business services, and industrial sectors.
He began his career in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan in London and Paris. Lionel is based in London and is a graduate of ESCP, the University of Louvain, and City University Business School.
