Astorg announces its Board Diversity ambition
Astorg, a European private equity firm with over €17 billion of assets under management, today announced its ambition to reach 40% of women and/or underrepresented minorities at the boards of all investments as of 2022.
Diversity is one of the key pillars underpinning Astorg's ESG Roadmap 2022-2025. Alongside diversity, Astorg's ambition is to work on Climate, Impact and Information Security, both internally and with its portfolio companies.
In 2021, Astorg created a DE&I Taskforce to build a roadmap for improving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across its teams and portfolio companies. Astorg is implementing a broad set of initiatives from recruitment to the development of a working environment based on inclusion and fairness.

Astorg plans to deliver on this ambition by increasing diversity within its investment team, increasing the number of appointed independent board members and encouraging its companies to promote more diverse management teams. Progress will be assessed and monitored through Astorg’s ESG program.
